We have been manufacturing industrial castors for over 6 decades and offer some of the very best products on the market. Our abrasion-resistant, high-performance series castors are used in all types of heavy industries, factories and warehouses. One of the most important features of castors in the high-performance series is that they have taper roller bearing in the swivel head. This enables them to run smoothly at higher speeds on all types of surfaces. Apart from the taper roller wheel bearing, we also ensure that all our castors are flawlessly manufactured, easy to maintain, and provide optimum performance no matter where they are applied.
All castors in Richmond’s high-performance series are custom-designed and manufactured in-house to specification. To ensure high performance, the fully sealed precision swivel head is robot-welded with a passivated zinc-plated frame. Each one features a large opposed taper roller wheel bearing in the swivel head, enabling power towing at speeds up to 12kph (over flat surfaces without obstructions). They also possess a generous load-bearing capacity of up to 1,500kg.
