Double flange wheels are the workhorse of heavy-duty material handling and crane applications. This family of wheel can be incorporated into bridge cranes, manufacturing wagons, mine carts any application requiring a load bearing wheel capable of resisting a lateral force in both directions, and staying the course along a straight length of track. Our standard double flange wheel is CNC machine turned from solid billet forgings. This creates the toughest, most durable wheel, with no risk of brittleness which is common in comparable cast iron wheels.
Each standard configuration is supplied with reducer bushings, which allows a standard commercial bolt to be used as the wheel axle (securing the wheel between 2 side plates). Alternatively, the reducers can be removed allowing the wheel to be mounted to a machined axle which may better suit your fitment/project requirements.
