300mm Poly Ci Wheel 1000Kg Capacity Castor (S1204D)

The S1204D manufactured by Richmond is a swivel frame castor and has a polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel. This swivel castor is one of our 1000 series range and has a maximum capacity of 1000kg. The S1204D wheel is fitted with ball bearings. The swivel frame permits the load to be steered. The overall polyurethane tyred cast iron wheel diameter is 300mm, the wheel width is 50mm and can be ordered separately (PU1218). This model can also be ordered without the direction lock (part number S1204).

This castor includes a directional lock – This feature locks the swivel direction of the castor but still allows the wheel to turn. When the directional lock is released, full swivel function is returned to the castor.

A 1000kg load rating provides an economical alternative to heavier load bearing castors. The ability to be towed at a 6kph by tugs and tractors enables Richmond’s 1000 Series to be used on mobile platforms, aviation trolleys, automotive assembly lines and production manufacturing plants. The polyurethane cast iron wheel type with a rolling diameter of up to 300mm not only enhances maneuverability but decreases rolling resistance. Like most Richmond heavy duty castors, our 1000 series has a precision machined ball race and high tensile steel kingpin to withstand side impact loads.
