Maintenance

  • Visual inspection for excessive wear of roller and axle
  • Ensure roller is rotating smoothly and quietly
  • Remove build up of concrete or debris
  • Apply EP2 all purpose lithium grease or equivalent
  • Replace roller if excessive wear or not operating smoothly

NOTE: WHEN REPLACING THE TAPERED ROLLER BEARINGS THE CORRECT PRETENSION AND TORQUE MUST BE APPLIED. TORQUE WRENCH SETTING: 54.3N.m (40 ft-lb)
